Catalyst staff spotlight: Senior Procurement Analyst Rithvik Sharma

Every month, we like to highlight a few of our Concentrix Catalyst staff and give them a chance to share more about themselves and what they enjoy most about being a part of Concentrix Catalyst. This week, we shine a light on Senior Procurement Analyst Rithvik Sharma.

Tell us about yourself.

I am from Hyderabad, India, a place that is famous for Biryani, a popular rice dish. I am a Marvel fan. Like most Indian men, I love watching cricket. I also like traveling with friends, watching movies, and playing badminton in my spare time.

What do you do at Concentrix Catalyst?

I work as a senior procurement analyst at Concentrix Catalyst. In this role, I assist our clients with contract and PO management for their suppliers. I also play a part in bidding, RFX, and vendor management, and assist Concentrix Catalyst with insurance follow-up with contractors and subcontractors.

What do you love about your work?

I find the supply chain management fascinating and my role at Concentrix Catalyst provides me the opportunity to work in this area. It provides me with a holistic view of procurement. I am particularly inclined towards the RFX, bidding, and negotiations part of my job because it encourages me to interact with our clients and their suppliers hand in hand to get the work done.

Tell us what it’s like working at Concentrix Catalyst.

I believe my team is the best I have ever worked with. The guidance that I receive helps me increase my knowledge of the supply chain. Everyone on the team tries to spread enthusiasm and optimism. As an example, we chip in for food every Friday. Also, each of my team members is passionate about their work.

What is something you are proud of?

I am proud of all the day-to-day work I do at Concentrix Catalyst, and to be more specific, I am proud when I deliver what’s required of me within sensitive timelines. I am also proud to help my teammates with their queries.

What is something you’ve learned in your time at Concentrix Catalyst?

I believe at Concentrix Catalyst I have learned how to handle RFX, and to negotiate with suppliers in a much better way. I’ve gotten better at managing issues for both clients and their suppliers, and I have gained a better understanding of managing and creating new contracts with the suppliers.
